-
Remember to respect nature and its surroundings and wildlife.
-
Please ask first before taking pictures of people as it is considered rude in African culture to take pictures without asking.
-
Observe the animals silently and with minimum disturbance to their natural activities. Loud talking on game drives frightens them.
-
Don’t imitate animal sounds, clap your hands, pound the vehicle, throw objects, tease or corner wild animals as it may provoke a potentially dangerous reaction.
-
Refrain from smoking on game drives as the African bush ignites very easily, and a flash fire is very disastrous.
-
Never attempt to feed of approach any wild animal on foot.
-
Respect your driver/guide’s judgment. Don’t insist that he takes you closer to the animals.
-
Don’t remove any natural material from wildlife reserves as this disrupts the ecology of the area.
-
Never sleep outside.
-
Follow only your guide’s advice and as questions as he is an expert.
